I LOVE Night + Market Song... and am so so glad they made it through the COVID scare. NIght + Market Song is a modern take/twist on Thai food. I wouldn't say it's a hole in the wall authentic Thai spot like Pa Ord Noodle is, but I absolutely love it. The most recent time we came for my bf's birthday. We ordered: 1. Papaya Salad (medium spice) - this was spicy and DELISH. I loved that it was a little extra salty, probably some of the better papaya salads i've had. 9/10 2. Moo Sadoong "Startled Pig" - got this one in spicy. FAVORITE dish of the night, 10/10. It is a spicy herbal salad with grilled pork, and all the herbs balanced so well with the pork, it was absolutely chefs kiss. 10/10 3. Pork Jowel - this one was good, the pork was very juicy and the flavor was on the sweeter side. I liked it but didn't love it quite as much as the other dishes. 7/10 4. SPICY spaghetti (cannot remember exact menu name) - TBH this item was also a favorite, tied with the moo sadoong! It was so flavorful with the basil and red bell peppers, and it only comes at the spicy level. This was listed as a special new item on the menu, so get it if it's there!! Love that they take reservations now too! They didn't prior to covid, so yay!

TLDR: we loved Night + Market Song and can't wait to go back. Made a reservation within an hour on a Saturday night which was convenient and were seated promptly about 5 minutes after arriving. Staff was kind, helpful, consultative, and attentive and the ambiance was very cool, colorful lights, neon, cool posters - definitely a vibe! I will say it is cramped and a bit loud (music/talking) so if you're sensitive to noise it might not be the best place for you. To the food: Crab Wontons - such a perfect start to the meal, creamy and can really taste the crab, highly recommend. Grapow Crunchwrap Supreme - we love a good crunchwrap and often make our own at home and this was such an awesome take on the Crunchwrap supreme, really great flavors, perfect to share between two, highly recommend. Pad See Ew - I'm a savory eater and this was a little too salty for me, it's usually my go-to order for Thai cuisine, we probably ate 1/3 of the dish, don't recommend. Shrimp Fried Rice - super tasty, a little peppery, we wished we ordered this over the Pad See Ew because we were too full to eat a lot of it, highly recommend. The bottle of wine we ordered was really nice, it was the last option of the reds on the menu - very tasty! We look forward to returning.

My brother picked up food from here while we were in town. He described it a bit of fusion. We got the following dishes and all were outstanding and unique to us. 1)Grapow Crunchwrap supreme-crispy on the outside w/ Thai medley in the inside 2)Some type of egg roll which I am not sure what it was called and I never had at a Thai restaurant but it was crispy delicious, especially with the sweet sacue 3)Pastrami pad kee mao-unique twist on pad kee mao which was also flavorful, and delicious 4)Papaya salad-refreshing and good portion size Their spicy is spicy. I found the food to be unique and I have only had the typical Thai dishes prior to ordering here.

Cute, cozy, thai restaurant in the middle of Sunset. I hear that it's pretty popping, so think about making a reservation, but we were able to get in with a walk in. The staff are super nice and know the menu pretty well. There were a bunch of things on the menu that we wanted to try, but we landed on starting with the brussel sprouts. highly recommend it! It was sweet, savory, and filling! Could not stop putting it on my plate. The staff recommends sharing plates, but you can also just order an entree on your own, they aren't that big enough to share if you come in a bug group. I got the shrimp fried rice, which was good, but lacked flavor and heat. My friend ended up with the Pad Thai which she loved! Would definitely come back! Super cute and affordable Thai option!
